4th District

The New Orleans Police Department's 4th District consists of the area of the city of New Orleans on the west side of the Mississippi River and it is isolated from the rest of the city by the river. This area of New Orleans is known as Algiers and includes the Naval Support Activity Center, Holy Cross College, English Turn Golf and Country Club. Algiers Point and Tall Timbers are among the neighborhoods in the district.

The Fourth District is commanded by Captain David Kirsch.
